The vrdoro platform is a web application that requires a web browser and an active internet connection.
All software systems and devices are supported in the latest versions. We specify a minimum version for some environments. For technical reasons, the use of versions older than the latest version cannot be fully guaranteed.
Application options such as VR tours, 360-degree views, the vrdoro store and the 3D configurator vrdoro-visualiser allow the use of VR headsets.
The technology required to display 3D scenes is WebGL2. This is supported from the following browser versions:
For Android devices, at least the following browser version must be available
Source: https://caniuse.com/?search=webgl2
If WebGL2 is not available, this message appears:
The configurator cannot be displayed without WebGL2 support. Please update the graphics card drivers and try again. You can find details about your device at WebGL2 Report
WebGL 2 support may be disabled when using a Firefox browser. Therefore, check this in Firefox:
about:config
in the URL linewebgl2
webgl.enable-webgl2
to true
Also check the value webgl.disabled
. Here false
is the correct value.
After exiting the VR view, the 3D view should be reloaded in the browser so that the position of the virtual viewer is updated.
Calibrating the VR headset ensures correct size perception and ground position in the VR views. With the Meta Quest 3, repeatedly taking the VR headset off and on can lead to the feeling that the floor is too high. The feet then feel as if they are below the floor. This can be checked by placing the hand controller on the real floor. The virtual hand controller visible in the VR view must then also be on or above the floor. If this is not the case and the controller is below the floor, the VR headset (or the Guardian) must be recalibrated.
