To import the textureplugin-autotooltip__default plugin-autotooltip_bigTexture
A texture is an image that is displayed on the surface of a virtual body in order to change the surface properties such as colour, roughness, metalness, normal vectors and others. onto a Blender model, we need to switch to the shading tab on the top toolbar. To add a new material, clickplugin-autotooltip__default plugin-autotooltip_bigClick
Depending on the device, clicking refers to the user action for selecting an element. For devices with a mouse, this means pointing to the element followed by pressing the left mouse button. On devices with touch displays, this refers to tapping or tapping and holding (iOS: long touch). on the “+” sign on the right under the material properties tab (1), then clickplugin-autotooltip__default plugin-autotooltip_bigClick

A principled BSDF and material output node should have appeared in the material field. We need to add a textureplugin-autotooltip__default plugin-autotooltip_bigTexture

To correct this, we need to use the UV Mapping tab. To have Blender project the new textureplugin-autotooltip__default plugin-autotooltip_bigTexture
A texture is an image that is displayed on the surface of a virtual body in order to change the surface properties such as colour, roughness, metalness, normal vectors and others. in 2D in the UV Mapping tab, we need to first select the entire object (A) in edit mode, press “U” and then choose “Unwrap”. This takes the model and lays it out flat, like the way a cardboard box looks when layed flat. This makes it easier to position the texturesplugin-autotooltip__default plugin-autotooltip_bigTexture

On the left you can see the model unwrapped. This is the reason the texturesplugin-autotooltip__default plugin-autotooltip_bigTexture
